Now I am not personally a huge fan of the show. However having recently been to Port Issac (which is where the show is set). I was bemused to learn that you are not allowed up to the house where Doc Martin supposedly lives which is not true as Port Issac is only used for the scenes of the show that take place outside. Everything else is filmed in a TV studio. Not disappointing for me for the other hundreds of people who had come to see the set - very disappointing!
